Greene, who is also a BART police officer, buys run-down houses, fixes them up and rents them out or sells them. Real estate agent David Greene, of Discovery Bay, is photographed as he talks about a house that he and a business partner purchased and remodeled that is now for sale in Martinez, Calif., on Thursday, Feb. “I’m building up a team and just won Rookie of the Year for 2017!” said Greene, of Keller Williams, who was recently featured on an episode of “House Hunters” as well. Raised in Manteca, now living in a foreclosed Discovery Bay home he bought and renovated, Greene traded in his BART badge for a leave of absence from his eight-year run with the transit agency to concentrate full-time on being a real estate agent. He used to carry a gun, but these days you’ll find David Greene carrying a nail gun instead, since the BART police officer now rehabilitates houses for his investments. ![]()
